The season proper commences this Saturday. The 1st XV visit Poynder Park to play Kelso. The corresponding fixture last season saw GHA snatch a last gasp victory with a try and conversion in the dying seconds. Meanwhile, the 2nd XV are down the road at the Greenyards with a tough opening tie against Melrose. Both Kick Offs are at 3pm.

The following Saturday, GHA will welcome another Borders side, Biggar, to Braidholm for the home league opener.
