David Millar, a former Scotland U19 / U21 International and Glasgow District representative player is set to embark on a 250 mile handcycle journey on New Zealand's South Island in aid of spinal cord research. David suffered a serious spinal cord injury whilst playing in New Zealand 20 years ago and aims to use this journey to help raise money and awareness for spinal cord research to help athletes of all sports who have suffered similar injuries to himself.
GHA would like to wish David well in his campaign and ask our members to visit his website for more information (link below) and donate what they can to his cause.
