Robert L. Mutch

It is with regret that the Club has learned of the death of Bob Mutch, at his home in Aberdeenshire.

Bob had been in poor health for some time and following the death of his wife Ethel in 2009, his health had further deteriorated until he passed away today, Friday 8th January 2010.

As a past Vice President of Clarkston Rugby Football Club, Bob was a tireless worker and held a number of Management positions until he and Ethel moved to Aberdeenshire. Bob’s son Robin was an outstanding back row forward in the Clarkston first XV and his grandson Mark McMillan was an enthusiastic member of the Clarkston Junior Section along with his father Tom.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been made, but Glasgow Hutchesons’ Aloysians Rugby Football Club extends its condolences to Robin and Joanna and family.
