Williamwood's Warriors, the Williamwood U18 squad were narrowly defeated 21-25 by Aberdeen Grammar in the Final of the Brewin Dolphin Schools U18 Bowl at Murrayfield last Wednesday. In an exciting seven-try game, the lead changed hands on six occasions, Williamwood holding their own at 21-20 with less than five minutes to go.

A late try by Aberdeen sealed the win, but Williamwood were literally inches away from a last-ditch try when they were beaten by the clock. This was a huge performance from the school side, the first time Williamwood have appeared in a National Final. Well done to all the boys, who can be proud of what they've achieved.

An absolutely brilliant game to watch, the squad can be very proud of this achievement after only playing at Williamwood for 3 seasons.
A real pleasure to be there and look forward to next season! Well done all!
