GHA RFC is one of Scotland's premier rugby clubs. We run four senior teams every Saturday as well as a full range of Junior teams from Primary 1 to U18.

First Class Coaching
GHA have appointed Gordon MacPherson as their new 1stXV Head Coach for season 2011-12, an ex-All Black lock and former Glasgow Warriors and Scotland 'A' Coach. He will be asissted by Stuart Lang, a former Heriots FP fly half and rugby coach at Hutchesons' Grammar School where he has been instrumental in developing young talent at what has been Glasgow's premier rugby school in the last decade. Gordon and Stuart head up a talented coaching team that are aiming to bring GHA back to the top table in Scottish Club Rugby.

Top Class Players
GHA have seen a number of top quality players pass through our doors in recent years, not least former Scotland Internationals Alan Bulloch and Euan Murray as well as Scotland 'A' Internationals Jon Welsh, Calum Forrester and James Eddie who were all signed to professional contracts whilst playing at GHA. This season we are delighted to announce that that illustrious list will be added to with 53 times capped Scotland Centre Andrew Henderson coming on board. He will be joined by former Welsh Rugby League International and Scotland 'A' player, Hefin O'Hare. Jamie Pinder who formerly played with Northland and North Harbour in the New Zealand NPC will also be staying on in the GHA pack. A number of other new recruits have also joined the club as well as players coming up from our highly successful junior section including Scotland U18 player Adam Barnett.

We believe that we have in place one of the premier set-ups in Scottish Rugby, from our thriving mini section to our ambitious First XV. We welcome players of all abilities, from those who are looking to play socially, to those who have aspirations of playing professionally and we have a track record of helping players to achieve this.
