It is with great sadness that GHA reports that Daniel Gourlay, son of GHA Gazelle player Jim Gourlay, passed away suddenly on Sunday 5th April. Daniel was a long-time social member and supporter of GHA, a regular face at Braidholm for home games, Warriors games and International fixtures with his Dad and brother Matthew.
Everyone at GHA extends their sincerest condolences to Jim, Matthew, and Daniel’s Mum, friends and family during this extremely difficult time. Daniel will be missed by us all and we will honour his memory with a minute’s silence in the new season – date to be confirmed.
The family would like to let members know that Daniel’s funeral will be held at 3pm on Monday 27th April at The Linn Crematorium, and will be followed by a reception at GHA Rugby Club, Braidholm Road, Giffnock.
