Dear Members,
The club would like to update the membership that we have received a grant award of £23,400 following an application under the East Ren Energy Fund.
The Fund receives contributions from Whitelee Wind Farm. All of this is only possible due to the generosity of ScottishPower Renewables and East Renfrewshire Council, whom GHA wish to thank publicly.
The grant will be used to future proof our facilities and in particular upgrade the stand side floodlights on pitch 1, and the install a new parameter fence on pitch 3.
Work will begin in the coming weeks once the Board have booked in the relevant contractors.
Lastly, GHA wish to highlight GHA’s Fundraising Committee for their efforts in preparing and submitting the application.
