🏆The biggest 1872 Cup match in history takes place on Sunday 22nd December at Hampden Park. Join us at Braidholm in the build up to the game as we celebrate all things club rugby!🏆
We are looking forward to welcoming Royal High RFC and their Girls and U14s teams to Braidholm for a friendly tournament and training sessions between West & East, that will be followed by food and drinks before everyone heads to Hampden for the 3pm KO. We are delighted to have players from Scottish Rugby and Glasgow Warriors in attendance to support the day.
- 10am open – Clubhouse open for hot drinks
- 10.30am – Junior Girls Training Session with Scotland Captain Rachel Malcolm. Glasgow Warriors meet and great.
- 11am – GHA U14s v Royal High U14s West vs East friendly
- 12pm – drinks and food service from Prep to Plate upstairs in clubhouse
🍻☕ Hot drinks and soft drinks will be on offer to our visitors from the upstairs from 10am and bar service will begin at 11am.
🍔Prep to Plate will be on hand serving up their famous pre-match steak pie and burgers from the function room at Braidholm. All attendees are welcome to enjoy and can pay cash or card on the day.

Getting to Hampden: Braidholm is the perfect location to park & ride to Hampden, with trains leaving Muirend Station (
10minute walk from clubhouse) to Mount Florida Station (5 minute walk to Hampden) at 14.03 (arriving 14.10) and 14.32 (arriving at 14.37).🚗Parking is available on a first come, first serve basis and we encourage you to use the large tear drop carpark at the far end of the grounds. Please respect our neighbours and avoid parking in the adjoining Nuffield carpark.
📺For those not travelling to Hampden, the 1872 Cup game will be shown live on the big screens in the clubhouse at 3pm and everyone is welcome. Last orders will be at full time and the clubhouse will be closing at 6pm.
