GHA RFC is proud to be partnering with Mearns Kirk Helping Hands to support the launch of a new Men’s Breakfast Club at Braidholm, helping bring together older members of the local community, tackle social isolation and promote wellbeing.
Following recent fundraising efforts, supporters of both GHA and Helping Hands have helped make this second location possible. The additional breakfast club is greatly needed, with the existing Newton Mearns group currently fully subscribed.
The new club officially launched on Wednesday 27th May in the GHA clubhouse on Braidholm Road, Giffnock, providing a welcoming space for men to meet, chat and enjoy a warm breakfast roll and hot drink for just £3, while encouraging friendships and community connections to grow.
The Breakfast Club will continue to run weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10:00am–11:30am at GHA Rugby Club.
