GHA’s 1st XV recorded a comfortable 53 to nil win over West of Scotland in their final preseason match before the season starts proper this Saturday at home to Perthshire in the first round of the BT Scottish Cup. GHA scored 9 tries in total, all through the backs, as they put in an impressive display of fast and free flowing rugby to overcome a well drilled home side.
GHA’s 2nd XV faired even better as they defeated their West counterparts by 60 to nil in an equally impressive performance scoring 10 tries in total, 4 of which went to winger James Edgar who also notched one off of the bench for the 1st XV later on.
At Braidholm, GHA’s U18s defeated Dalziel in a tight tussle in their final preseason game, their season starts this Saturday away to Royal High Corstorphine in the U18 National League.
The GHA Lions (U20s) were unlucky to lose a high scoring encounter with Uddingston’s 1st XV as the eventually went down by 46 to 38.
