We are delighted to announce that the senior reserve team, the mighty GHA Lions, will return this season!
The Lions will compete in the West Region Development fixtures along with 9 other teams, starting on Saturday 14th September at home to East Kilbride 3XV. All game are friendlies, scheduled between 14hth Sept 2024 and 22nd March 2025, with all ten teams in the fixture list playing home and away. This seasons Development League was set up to provide games for teams from varying backgrounds and include club 1XV, 2XV and 3XV teams from across the west coast of Scotland.
The GHA Lions is the perfect team for players who aren’t competing with the 1XV and 2XV that weekend, are new or looking to get back into rugby, or a just looking to play social rugby when they are available. Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome to play with the Lions and take part in senior training on a Tuesday or Thursday night.
We would like to thank you the coaches, players and volunteers who worked hard in getting the league together and bringing the Lions back to Braidholm!
