A proud moment for the club on hearing the news that James Malcolm has signed a 2 year full time professional contract with the Glasgow Warriors.
GHA Forwards Coach Donald Malcolm, James’ older brother said of the news –
“Im sure that like me, everyone at GHA will be extremely proud and delighted for James in graduating from the academy to being awarded a full time professional contract with Glasgow Warriors. I have seen first-hand the huge amount of work he has put in off the field since leaving school and this is a fantastic and well deserved reward. James has progressed massively over the last few years and Im sure that hell benefit from working alongside three very experienced hookers in Fraser Brown, Pat MacArthur and now Corey Flynn which will no doubt help him to develop further as a player. These next two years are very important for James and Im sure hell be relishing the opportunity to build on the appearances he has made for the Warriors this season and compete for a place in the future.”
