It’s home game week! This Saturday 30th November, we will be marking the final 1XV home game day of 2024 alongside the final day of Movember with a whole day dedicated to raising awareness and funds for some of the biggest men’s health issues. From mental health to testicular and prostate cancer, Movember is the leading charity in changing the face of men’s health. Our senior players have been working hard to grow their own Mo’s this month and we will be supporting Movember through out the day to raise us much money as we can.

Our Movember home game kicks-off at 12pm with our pre-match lunch featuring guest speaker Osborne ‘Ozzy’ Croft from Movember UK and a few special guests from Glasgow Warriors. There will be a Q&A from Head Coach Calum Forrester discussing the season so far and the run of big fixtures for the 1XV leading up to the winter break and Quiz Master Bob Auld will be hosting a few extra special rounds of Play Your Cards Right and Guess the Score, with all funds raised going to the club’s Movember efforts. Lunch is priced at the usual £20pp and Prep to Plate will be on hand to serve up a feast to set you up for a big day of club rugby and celebrating the end of Movember.

Menu*

Braised chicken thigh, premium pork sausage, herb roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, green beans, chicken gravy.

Chocolate and fudge brownie with berry compote & vanilla ice cream
*All dietary requirements can be catered for upon request.

Please note this lunch is already proving popular and there is limited space remaining. With the previous two home games selling out, we’re expecting a busy one so please book your place through our Citizen Ticket event page before 8pm Thursday 28th November: https://tikt.link/MovemberHomeGame

Following the lunch, the 1XV will take on Highland RFC in their National League 1 fixture at 2pm and will look to continue their unbeaten run this season, in what promises to be a thriller of a game.  The Braidholm Boozer and Burger truck will be open and everyone is welcome to join us back in the clubhouse after the game to celebrate the day.

Across the clubhouse and grounds there will be donation QR codes to help you support the team and Movember and their will be prizes for the Best Crowd Mo’ and the Best & ‘Worst Player Mo’ on the day.

Our Movember home game is open to everyone: friends, family, supporters & visitors- so join us at Braidholm and cheer on the team, and help us raise awareness for Movember and the health of the men in our lives.

There is still time to support the GHA Mo’s in the lead up to Saturday, head to their Team page now: TEAM GHA RFC

We look forward to seeing you.

G-HA!
