GHA will face a final day title decider against local rivals Cartha in what will be one of the biggest games in the history of both teams.
Carthas 60-12 victory against Dunfermline last weekend ensured that there will be a final day showdown to decide the RBS Championship A title.
The Braidholm side still lead Cartha by five points but with their Southside rivals having a game in hand against Dumfries next Saturday both sides could go into the final day clash level on points.
GHA centre Hefin OHare is no stranger to playing in big matches and feels the match against Cartha will be right up there with the biggest he has played in.
He said: The way I see it in my career of 13 years of professional rugby and then moving on to GHA is that you dont get a lot of chances to win leagues and to win competitions.
I think it is a massive game. I have played in big games before.
Ive played in a Rugby League Grand Final to get into the Super League which fortunately we won.
Ive played in a cup final which we were fortunate to win.
This is exactly the same. It is a chance to win something which means a lot to the club and means a lot to myself as well.
Cartha will probably go into the final day decider as favourites due to the fact they have home advantage and have a more experienced squad.
However Hefin feels that GHA have a squad of players who are eager for success.
He said: In some ways you could say it will give them an advantage.
They might be older and more experienced but we have got a young team, full, fit and raring to go.
Is that an advantage for us? I think so.
I feel our forwards especially have come on leaps and bounds this year.
I think everyone at the club is raring to get their teeth stuck into Cartha.
GHA didnt get off to the best of starts to the league season having lost four of their first nine
games.
But they have gradually improved as the season has progressed and have won 11 of their last
12, the only loss being a Cup defeat to Premiership champions Ayr.
GHA centre Hefin OHare feels the forwards and their defence improving has been the key to
their success.
He added: It was like the year before. It took a bit of time for us to bed in.
Our forwards have come on leaps and bounds. A lot of people turn up at training which is good for the club.
I think on the day we realise we can beat any team which we play against.
We just have to all turn up and apply ourselves basically and I think we have started to do that.
Also our defence has tightened up significantly.
The game will take place a Dumbreck on Saturday 23rd March, KO 3pm.
