GHA have received planning permission for the installation of a new 3G surface and floodlights on Pitch 2 at Braidholm.
The application was recommended for approval by the Planner subject to a restriction on hours of use. The application then received no objections from Councillors on the Planning Committee and planning permission was thus granted. During the consultation the club also amended the proposed perimeter fencing to a 1.1 metre high perimeter barrier in order to improve the visual amenity and reduce the potential noise of balls hitting the fencing. The club now awaits a decision from various grant authorities and other parties with regards to the financing of the project.
