Ahead of our AGM on 13th May 2026, we are now inviting formal applications from qualified and committed individuals who would like to help shape the future of GHA. This follows the recent SGM, where members overwhelmingly approved the club’s new governance structure. Whether you are a long-standing member, part of the wider GHA community, or new to the Club, we would welcome your application. Non-members are very welcome to apply. However you will need to become a member of the club to stand for a board position ahead of the AGM.
Why now?
This is a pivotal moment for GHA.
We have:
- Secured our place in the Scottish Premiership for successive seasons
- Been admitted to the top level SRU Open Competition
- Built the largest minis section in Scotland
- Achieved record levels of membership and sponsorship
We now have a clear opportunity to build on this momentum as we work towards our ambition to become Scotland’s leading community rugby club, from minis to the Premiership.

- President
Managing Director- Finance Director
- Club Secretary
- Commercial Director
- Facilities Director
- Director of Rugby Operations
- Marketing and Communications Director
- Community Director
- Non-Executive Directors

How to apply
- You may apply for one or more roles
- Applications must be submitted by 6th May 2026
- You must be a member of the club before the deadline in order to stand for election
- Following applications, a formal nominations and election process will take place ahead of the AGM
- We encourage applicants to connect with others considering roles, to support the development of a strong and balanced Board
Finally, you may be interesting in volunteering in another capacity at GHA. We have volunteer roles available in all area of the club and you can find out more about volunteering with us here.
Currently I look after the flowers in hanging baskets tubs and pots around the exterior of the club; help on gate on game Saturdays and open up on a Saturday morning when possible.
