We hope you are all safe and well. With the weather we are experiencing today, the GHA Committee have made the decision to close the clubhouse tonight, Friday 24th January for the safety of our members, staff and visitors.

We plan to open again as normal tomorrow morning ahead of the double-header home game and both games are scheduled to kick-off at 2pm. We will communicate any changes to the day by email and across our website and socials.

Unfortunately, Braidholm has not escaped Storm Éowyn today and our cracking burger bar has been damaged, alongside other parts of the club. As you know we have a massive club day tomorrow against Glasgow Accies and Heriot’s and we want to show the club in its best form to celebrate a good day of rugby. Therefore, we are putting out a message to all members for any who can donate some of their time tomorrow morning. Any assistance from 10am is greatly welcomed.

For all ‘Pre-match Lunch’ and ‘Clarkston Lunch’ ticket holders- in the event of any changes to the fixtures, the lunch will go ahead regardless. Lunch will begin at 12pm and we ask that all attendees arrive early to ensure we start on time. As well as being sponsored by Cavendish Consulting, we will be fundraising across the day for Prostate Scotland. There will be an opportunity to take part in a raffle and games during the day and advise bringing cash along with you.

After the games, the clubhouse will be open to all to celebrate the day and we will be holding our very first ‘official’ Karaoke Night at 7pm. This is a non-ticketed event and is open to all, so come along and join us for a sing-a-long.

We look forward to seeing you.
