The current Glasgow U18 squad has five GHA RFC players represented in it. The squad of 23 has been selected after weeks of training and trials and GHA RFC is very proud to have such a strong representation.

Paul Tyler, GHA Academy Manager, said “It is a real testament to the quality of coaching at the club and the environment we create that these boys have achieved such success.” Andrew Goudie, GHA U18 Captain, said “We’ve all done well to get this far but the hard work really starts now. We all have to fight for starting places in the team and then work hard to win our games and try to impress the National selectors.”

GHA U18 Coach Zander McIlwham said “The success of the GHA U18 team has definitely contributed to the player’s selection success as the confidence they get from playing in a winning team every week is a big factor.” Currently the U18 team are top of West Division 1 having won 5 out of 5 in the league.
