Alf Forrest

‘ It is with regret that we have to report the sad passing of our friend Alf Forrest in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Stroke Unit where he had been in for a short while before he passed away from pneumonia on the 21st November . He will be fondly remembered as an outstanding Hutchie player for many years, a great character in so many ways, very sociable with a wonderful sense of humour and a fantastic voice. In recent years he was a very keen GHA supporter and enjoyed the monthly GROGS meetings. He leaves a wife Diana and son Grigor and three grandchildren. ‘
