While Mike Blair was warming up for Scotland’s crunch World Cup encounter with Italy in Saint-Etienne, brother David was starring to help Edinburgh Accies get back on the winning trail.
Blair jnr claimed all his team’s points as the capital troops outgunned GHA in Hydro Electric Division One at Raeburn Place. He launched his spree with a penalty then converted his own opportunist try – before making sure of the win with further pinpoint kicks.
GHA could only respond with four penalties from the boot of Jim Noonan.
