We hope that you are all well and looking forward to this rather strange festive period!
After the recent announcements from both the UK and Scottish Government, and in particular the news surrounding the new strain of the virus, we have discussed the matter at Board level today and have decided that the most appropriate way forward is that from today Tuesday 22nd December 2020 until Sunday 10th January 2021, Braidholm will be closed to all sports, at all age levels.
This will include football lets which we currently have on the 3G pitch, with the exception of Glasgow City Senior Ladies, who due to their professional status are permitted to train.
We hope that you all understand our decision and whilst many may be disappointed with it, it is one that the Board have taken with diligence and our priority remains to keep everyone at GHA, safe and well.
A review of this decision will be made in early January with a consideration to reopen on Monday 11th January, but given that the schools are not due to go back until the 18th January, it may be that this is not possible.
