GHA are delighted to announce that Fergus Wallace of the The Sports Network Group has joined the club as Business Development Manager.
Fergus previously performed the same role with the Glasgow Warriors where he was responsible for building the hugely successful Glasgow Warriors Business Club and bringing in several new sponsors and partners to the professional side.
A former Clarkston RFC and Hutchesons’ Aloysians RFC player, Wallace will head up GHA’s sponsorship and partnership programme, liaising with existing sponsors and seeking to attract new sponsors and partners to the club.
Fergus said: “I”m really pleased to have this opportunity to come on board with GHA at a hugely exciting time for the club with a lot of positive things happening on and off the field, including the planned development of a new 3G facility at Braidholm.”
As a player, Wallace captained the Glasgow district for six years and after the game turned professional, he turned out for Glasgow in the 1997/98 Heineken Cup. He also represented Scotland at A and 7s level, and captained a Scotland XV on their tour of Zimbabwe in 1995. He is also the second cousin of GHA 1st XV captain Andrew Goudie.
