GHA will look to start the New Year with a place in the RBS West Regional Cup final as they face Hillhead/Jordanhill at Braidholm.
The Southsiders will be looking for revenge after losing to Hillhead/Jordanhill in the National
League a few weeks ago.
The winners will take on Premiership side Glasgow Hawks in the final next Saturday.
GHA Head Coach Gordon MacPherson believes they have will have to improve and cut out
unforced errors if they are to progress to the final.
He said: We need to up our performance in terms of our senior players taking the game more, leading more and keeping the ball better.
There were a lot of things which were poor about our game the last time out.
We have to make sure we dont make as many unforced errors and keep the ball more when
we have the opposition under pressure and dont let them off the hook so easily.
Victory against Hillhead/Jordanhill on Saturday would see GHA take on Glasgow Hawks in the final.
The Premiership side booked their place in the final with a 36-3 win against Marr.
GHA Head Coach Gordon MacPherson believes getting to the final and testing themselves
against Premiership opposition is an added incentive.
He said: We have set reaching the final as one of our targets early on in the Cup. It is exciting if we do happen to beat Hillhead/Jordanhill we will play Glasgow Hawks who are a division above us.
It will be a good test to play them for us and it will give us a chance to see where we are at.
The players are looking forward to setting the record straight against Hillhead/Jordanhill and
see if we can get to the final which would be good for the club as well.
Unlike their National League meeting a fortnight ago GHA will have home field advantage on Saturday.
However Gordon believes it could be an advantage only if they can capitalise on it.
He added: When you play at home there is always that comfort your surroundings are
familiar and the crowd are with you.
It should be an advantage but Hillhead/Jordanhill have beaten us twice this season we will be showing them a lot of respect. Home advantage does help but we have to make it count.
