Head Coach Euan Clark has announced his squad for the first league game of the season which is also the first leg of the Billy Barnes Cup against Cartha QP. The starting line up features 4 changes to the side that played Murrayfield Wanderers in the BT National Cup last Thursday. Making his debut at openside is Elliott Hardie (pictured) who has joined the club from Melrose over the summer. The former Borders and Caledonia age grade player has impressed during preseason and comes in for Mike Ryan who suffered a serious shoulder injury last week. At scrum half, the experienced Andrew Gillman also returns.
Club Centurion Chris Binnie will be looking to make an impact from the bench alongside club stalwarts Scott Carson and Tony Brogan. Also on the bench is another debutant, David Corbenici, who has recently moved to Glasgow from Brisbane in Australia where he played for GHA associate club Brothers.
