GHAs S2 team won the SRU National 7s tournament at the IRB Emirates event on Sunday 5th May.
GHA won the Fair Play trophy which was presented to them by SRU President, Allan Lawson, after fine displays against Stirling County, Linlithgow and Huntly Highlanders.
The ten man squad produced some great, fast flowing rugby and ran in over 15 tries in their three matches. The key to their success however, was their relentless tackling performance and support play.
Congratulations to Michael Hughes, Lewis Reilly, Struan Miller, Cameron Carney, Jackson Baillie, Lorne Scott, Josh Gibson, Oliver Watson-Sweeney, Michael Cruickshank and team captain Rory Dickson.
They were a credit to GHA and the coaches received numerous positive comments from the SRU officials about them.
GHA would also like to thank Hamish Munro and his team from SRU, for organising this and the regional qualifying event in March.
