Pictured: Sean Corrigall charges into the Cartha line during last week’s 2nd XV game

?Head Coach Craig Sorbie has announced a fairly settled side from the one that defeated Biggar last week with only 2 changes to the starting XV. Erik Cavan starts at 6 after an impressive performance off the bench last weekend and Michael Robertson returns at Tight Head in place of Michael Fox.

On the bench GHA welcome back Niall Cassie who has recovered from a leg injury.

Due to make his first team debut on Saturday is also former Olympic rowing trainee Sean Corrigall who narrowly missed out on selestion for Team GB at the 2012 Olympics. The giant Orcadian joined the club in November and has put in some impressive performances for the 2nd XV in recent weeks. At 6ft 9in, if Sean makes it on to the field tomorrow it is believed that he will become the tallest player ever to represent the club. For whatever reason, GHA have never been a club blessed with many tall players and even including professional players that were allocated to the club in the pro draft during our days in the Premiership, it is believed that the tallest player to previously wear the green, white and red was 6ft 5in former Glasgow pro Joe Beardshaw who played a handful of games for GHA in season 2003/04.
