There is no let up in action for GHA over the festive period as this Friday night (28th Dec) they make the short trip to Hughenden to face Hillhead/Jordanhill in the RBS West Regional Cup. Hills’ are sitting in the top half of the National league (one above GHA) and it will be a huge challenge for GHA to come way with the victory and remain in contention for a semi final spot. However, GHA won the reverse fixture a few weeks ago with an impressive upset at Braidholm.
Gordon MacPherson is taking the opportunity to give a couple of fringe players some much needed game time and also to welcome back into the fold Sean Fisher at prop after a few weeks away as well as Alan Auld at flanker who is fit again after a hand injury. In the backs, Hefin O’Hare makes his return at centre after a few weeks absence due to a head injury.
