GHA and Falkirk renew acquaintances this weekend and both sides will be looking for a crucial win to keep them in the promotion hunt. Falkirk secured a comprehensive victory over the previously unbeaten Whitecraigs last Saturday, whilst GHA slipped up by a point away at Dumfries. Both sides have a 4 and 2 win loss record, with GHA ahead in the league courtesy of the extra bonus points accumulated.
This is the first competitive encounter between the sides since they played out a humdinger in January 2011 which GHA won 47 to 32 (Highlights below).
GHA’s injury problems are alleviated slightly this weekend with the return of Hefin O’Hare and Ross McClymont in the backs. In the pack, a training ground injury has put and end for the time being to Jamie Auld’s ambitions of increasing his impressive try count for the season – he’s scored 4 in 6 games from the second row.
Kick Off is 3pm.
