Watsonians got their first away success with a victory which was closer than it sounds.
The visitors opened the try-scoring when Matt Morrell charged down an attempted clearing kick by Ross West and grabbed the try. With another added by Ben Di Rollo, Watsonians led 13-6 at the turn.
Tries by Alan Bulloch and then Ian Kennedy pulled the score back to 19-18 with six minutes left. Then Bernie Hennessey added his third penalty to James Easton’s drop goal and then in stoppage time Di Rollo grabbed another try.
Kennedy kicked two penalties and a conversion for GHA.
