Congratulations to all the players and coaches involved at the Hillhead minis Tournament on Sunday.
I’m delighted to advise that GHA RFC nearly had a clean sweep at all age levels.
P3 won all their games winning their age group.
P4 representing the club with 2 teams played each other in the final. Well done to all 16 players.
P5 narrowly missed out in the final losing to Marr by 6 tries to 4 – unlucky guys but a great effort.
P6 again representing the club with 2 teams played well with one team victorious beating Marr in the final 4 tries to 3 playing some fantastic rugby along the way.
P7 – Beat Garnock 13 tries to 1, Hillhead 8 tries to 1 and Hamilton 8 tries to nil – Fantastic!
The S1s also had a busy and hugely successful week.
First was a great win at Birkmyre last Sunday – Birkmyre 12 GHA 57; secondly on Friday they won the Glasgow Warriors S1 7 tournament beating West of Scotland by 3 trys to 2 in the final on the big pitch at half time of the Warriors v Ospreys game; and finally they beat our touring guests London Scottish by 12 converted trys to 1. Well done to all the players and coaches!
