Michael Fox has been announced as the new Club Captain for the coming season, taking over the role held by Tony Brogan for the past 3 years. The 28 year old Tighthead Prop joined GHA as a 12 year old and progressed through the age-grades at GHA as well as playing for St. Aloysius College.
Michael said: “I am delighted to be asked to be Club Captain, it is a real honour. Tony has done a great job over the past 3 seasons and hopefully I can keep up his good work. The club has been on a great path and I hope to contribute to its ongoing success, both on and off the pitch.”
GHA Director of Rugby, Rangi Jericevich said: “Michael is a key member and leader within our senior squad and I am looking forward to working with him as our club captain. My thanks go to Tony for his captaincy over the past 3 seasons, he will continue to play an important role as a leader within the squad.”
