Head Coach Craig Sorbie has made 11 changes to tomorrow’s starting line-up, 2 positional and 9 personnel changes, as GHA welcome Aberdeen Grammar to Braidholm in the first round of the BT Scottish Cup, KO 3pm.

Among the changes are 2 debutants, Andrew Grant-Suttie who starts at 7 and Jose Abrantes who starts at 12. Andrew, 18, joins us from North Berwick RFC having moved to Glasgow for University. He was capped for Scotland U18s last season and was a member of the Borders and East Lothian Academy. He captained the Borders at U18 and U20 and is an exciting addition to the GHA squad. He impressed on his debut for the 2nd XV in their victory away to Selkirk last weekend.

Jose (Zé) Abrantes, 21, is another university student who has been putting in good performances for the 2nd XV. He hails from Cascais just outside Lisbon and has represented Portugal U20s and been a member of the Portuguese 7s training squad.

In other changes, giant Orcadian second row Sean Corrigall returns having sepnt the summer playing in New Zealand where he gained representative honours for the Bay of Plenty Development XV.  Peter Jericevich starts at stand off having shaken off an injury which kept him out last weekend and Andrew Spowart earns a well deserved first start on the wing.
