After the agonising defeat to Marr two weeks ago GHA continue the league run in with the visit of Selkirk to Braidholm. Always tightly contested encounters, the added incentive of impending league restructuring means that both sides are chasing coveted positions in the top half of the table. Octobers meeting in the Borders was a typically tight affair with the home side taking the win 27-21.

MEMORABLE MEETING
SPOILS ARE EVEN AS GHA ARE HELD TO THEIR FIRST DRAW
Saturday 19th October 2002
GHA, in only their eight competitive match are held to their first ever draw by Selkirk, who clinched a share of the spoils with a penalty kick deep into injury time. The outcome did not reflect the match which was there for the taking but the visitors failed to capitalise on their possession and pressure.
