GHA’s U18s capped off a fantastic season by winning the Glasgow Shield with a 13 to 10 vicotry over Glasgow Hawks on Saturday. The team who also won the West League undefeated have gone from strength to strength all season, under he stewardship of Paul Tyler and Zander McIlwham. The day was a fantastic advert for U18 club rugby as the two sides battled it out in an enthralling game which was witnessed by a large Braidholm crowd.
On Sunday, the GHA U16s matched this achievement as they defeated Cumnock in the U16 final by 14 to 7.
