Currie continue on their upward trajectory as their never-say-die approach was awarded with a last gasp penalty by Greg Rutherford to claim a 20-19 win at Braidholm.
For the second successive week Ruaridh Pye was on the try-sheet for Currie as the youngster continues to make a strong impression on entering senior rugby; Aaron Cowie had the other visiting touchdown on a day when Rutherford’s ten-point haul with the boot was hugely influential.
